Tucker Carlson appears to support not making an enemy out of Russia

A very interesting video published by Daily Beast:

Tucker Carlson: ‘Why Would We Take Ukraine’s Side and Not Russia’s?’

Tucker for US president, I say. Carlson is in harmony with John Mearsheimer when claiming that China, not Russia, is the threat from a US perspective. Offshore balancing is the realist alternative to isolationism.

But my basic view is that both Taiwan/China and Ukraine/Russia are distractions which keep rightwing populists and leftwing populists from focusing on the corporatist enemy at home.

It is corporations in America and Europe that have given away Western jobs to China. Attack these corporations and force our governments to restore all jobs lost to China the last 3-4 decades. Then we cultural conservatives don’t have to worry about China, partly because CCP is actually more conservative than Washington in many regards, and liberal corporatists will in any case use AUKUS and the Quad to prevent China from becoming a regional hegemon in East Asia.

Make the Philippines, South Korea and Japan into unconquerable fortresses. That will prevent a domino effect if China attacks Taiwan. It will then be unnecessary for conservatives in the West to fight and die in another corporate war abroad, almost on the other side of the planet.

But a war against China has advantages from a conservative viewpoint, since a global war may (partly) destroy the anti-conservative panopticon of 4IR (fourth industrial revolution).

One strategy for cultural conservatives, if the goal is to destroy 4IR, is to first pretend that we’ll not support Taiwan and then quickly defend the island after China invades it. That will probably lead to an intercontinental war destroying the liberal globalist system. As cynical and sociopathic neoliberals love to say: never let a major crisis go to waste. In other words, I don’t support a US intervention in the civil war between Han Chinese islanders and mainlanders, but if America wants to fight then everybody will lose except real cultural conservatives who live traditionally. So personally I’m not going to stand in the way of an intervention. If two tigers (globalist empires) fight in the jungle a smart monkey (a nationalist in Norway) sits in the trees.

A war is not unlikely. Beijing surrendering Taiwan is like Washington surrendering Hawaii. America, however, will intervene and fight in a war over Taiwan, unless China is crazy enough to play the nuclear card in a credible way. Reuters:

U.S. and allies would ‘take action’ if Taiwan attacked – Blinken

“The United States and its allies would take unspecified “action” if China were to use force to alter the status quo over Taiwan, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said on Wednesday.”

Expect at least a blockade of China if Beijing attacks Taiwan. China must then break the blockade, just to survive, forcing America to fire the first shots at a Chinese warship. Hello WW3!

After NATO broke its promise to Russia and expanded eastward it has given Russia no choice but to cooperate with China, despite the latter being historically an enemy of Russia. National Security Archive:

NATO Expansion: What Gorbachev Heard

“U.S. Secretary of State James Baker’s famous “not one inch eastward” assurance about NATO expansion in his meeting with Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev on February 9, 1990, was part of a cascade of assurances about Soviet security given by Western leaders to Gorbachev and other Soviet officials throughout the process of German unification in 1990 and on into 1991, according to declassified U.S., Soviet, German, British and French documents posted today by the National Security Archive at George Washington University (http://nsarchive.gwu.edu).”

Don’t be surprised if China asks Russia and Iran to take America’s focus away from Taiwan by creating, or appearing to create, a lot of trouble in Ukraine and the Middle East.

Insider / AP:

Israeli officials say they’re getting ready for a potential conflict with Iran

“Israeli army chief of staff Lt. Gen. Aviv Kohavi said Tuesday that the Israeli military was “speeding up the operational plans and readiness for dealing with Iran and the nuclear military threat.””

The advantage of being a Christian is that we are not afraid of Armageddon. Everything goes according to God’s plan. On average modern life on Earth is 27,375 days (75 years). It’s all temporary.

Tucker should run for president. Why not? He has the right conservative values and cares about America and its people.
