Joe Rogan and Jimmy Dore prove that CNN spreads medical disinformation

The Jimmy Dore Show:

CNN Lied About Joe Rogan ADMITS Dr. Sanjay Gupta!

In the above video, Jimmy talks with Max Blumenthal from The Grayzone. GZ and Jimmy or Tucker Carlson for example are valuable because they reveal stuff censored or conveniently omitted by corporate media, but these left- and rightwing critics of the neoliberal globalist Establishment are biased too, so one must always doublecheck their claims. I’m very biased too of course, which is unavoidable when defending any set of emotion-based values, be it liberal human rights or cultural conservatism. So doublecheck my articles here on

Jimmy talked about some scientific studies indicating that Ivermectin can be effective. I have absolutely no clue and don’t know what I’m talking about here, so I’m not giving any medical advice at all. Simply notice that Jimmy interprets it as CNN misleading people when Gupta said this about Ivermectin: “for the most part … there’s no evidence that it it really works here” (16:32 – 17:10). Jimmy is perhaps not totally off the mark when interpreting Gupta’s statement in the worst light possible, because a quick Google search led me to this article from The Lancet:

The effect of early treatment with ivermectin on viral load, symptoms and humoral response in patients with non-severe COVID-19: A pilot, double-blind, placebo-controlled, randomized clinical trial

“Ivermectin is a widely used antiparasitic drug with known partial efficacy against several single-strain RNA viruses [5, 6, 7]. Caly et al. reported in vitro inhibition of SARS-CoV-2 replication using micromolar concentrations of ivermectin [[8]]. These findings, together with early observational evidence and ecological evidence, prompted several Latin-American countries to include ivermectin as part of the national policy for COVID-19 treatment [[9]].”

“As of December 21, 2020, there are 45 studies evaluating the efficacy of ivermectin to treat or prevent COVID-19 registered in, and 74 trials registered in WHO´s International Clinical Trials Registry Platform ( of which at least 14 are already completed. Although some observational and case control studies as well as emerging small randomized clinical trials suggest a potential utility [10, 11, 12, 13]. Yet, there is still a dearth of robust, randomized controlled trials to appropriately inform policy decisions.” (…)

“This pilot has several key limitations that warrant careful interpretation of the results. Firstly, it was designed to explore a potential signal for the use of ivermectin in COVID-19, not to provide definitive evidence on the subject, hence its small sample size. …”

“The positive signal found in this pilot warrants the conduction of larger trials using ivermectin for the early treatment of COVID-19. Such trials should include patients with risk factors for severe disease as well as patients with pneumonia. The potential for a mechanism of action different to direct antiviral effect also opens the door for pre-exposure prophylaxis in high-risk groups.”

Gupta got bulldozed by Rogan, which he deserved. But to enjoy a verbal fight that is more even I sure would love to see Joe Rogan go up against one of the high-functioning psychopaths working for MI6 or NSA. By the way, Rogan would have bulldozed me too. I got narcolepsy and have a stuttering problem, therefore no longer a match against heavy hitters who talk fast like a MG 42. So I kind of felt sorry for Gupta but a weasel like that deserves to get hammered.

Most people working for Western intelligence agencies are not high-functioning or “pro-social” psychopaths. Psychopathy is not even an officially recognized disorder. For more on this read The Wisdom of Psychopaths by Kevin Dutton at Oxford. Many workers at FBI or CIA for instance are just into misguided idealism. Been there, done that, in my own kind of way, so I’m not in a position to throw rocks at anybody. I’m even defending the jobs of these dark (or “light”) triad individuals, warning them about not letting AI robots replace them. When not taking ethics into account I support old-school spies. They are now an endangered species. As a hobby-zoologist I want to protect them in the same way that Steve Irvin and Ocean Ramsey defend crocodiles and sharks.
