Exploiting pandemic and loneliness to sell mass produced Sophia the Robot in 2021/22

Makers of Sophia the robot plan mass rollout amid pandemic

Watch this video:

Sophia the Robot is in Mass Production

Supporters of AI robots say automation will not make humans unemployed because robots cannot be social workers, but that’s a lie, because Sophia is developed to have “empathy” and work in elderly homes etc.

In the video it’s freakish, in a negative way, to observe how those who develop Sophia interact with this machine in a manner that appears like they are anthropomorphizing it: attributing human characteristics or behaviour to a god, animal, or object.

The brain of a child should not be exposed to humanoid robots like Sophia. It will only take one generation of kids to grow up with “social humanoids” to change society forever, under Big Tech control and surveillance.

But millions of lonely people are going to buy Sophia. Are you lonely? Who cares? Just sell expensive robots to the lonely and then we can forget they exist.

The EU has even proposed that these machines should be given the legal status of being “electronic persons”. This is sick, more dangerous and weird than Scientology. The Independent:

EU to vote on declaring robots to be ‘electronic persons‘

The EU decision is here:

Texts adopted – Civil Law Rules on Robotics – Thursday, 16 February 2017

The European Parliament, (…)

“59.  Calls on the Commission, when carrying out an impact assessment of its future legislative instrument, to explore, analyse and consider the implications of all possible legal solutions, such as: (…)

“f) creating a specific legal status for robots in the long run, so that at least the most sophisticated autonomous robots could be established as having the status of electronic persons responsible for making good any damage they may cause, and possibly applying electronic personality to cases where robots make autonomous decisions or otherwise interact with third parties independently;”

When will responsible citizens start to combat Big Tech?
